Voila! Wedding Show Recap

On Sunday, I had the opportunity to participate in the Voila! Wedding Show at the Woodmark Hotel in Kirkland. Not only was I a vendor, but I was asked to be a part of event design for the "spring" room. Thank you Pink Blossom Events and Panache Events for trusting us, giving us creative control and letting us do what we do best. Here are a few pictures of the items I created...ribbon garlands with vellum blossoms and 10 inch rosettes (covered 20 feet of draping), send-off pennants/flags, table numbers, chair backs and an escort card board that had cards that had the most beautiful hand lettered calligraphy by Ephemera Press.

According to the website...

"This is the way wedding planning should be.You make your way to a lovely, convenient venue at a reasonable hour. You wander manageable rooms, which have been transformed into spring, summer, autumn, and winter and are filled with harmonized tabletops, floral designs and decorating ideas. You nibble on savory morsels, sip signature drinks, and sample seasonal sweets. You get acquainted with some of the area's finest wedding professionals (a reasonable amount, the crème de la crème), and finish your day energized and excited, loaded with ideas and resources to help check off your to-do list. Voila! It's easy, it's fun and it's done."

This was what was promised and this is what was delivered! The concept is genius and I consider myself lucky to have been able to work some incredibly talented people to accomplish this. I worked directly with Laurel's Floral Decor and Ephemera Press to create the overall look of the room and had the pleasure of meeting French Knot Couture, Immaculate Confections, Moulton Garden Bonbons and Bugsie Productions. Please check out the complete list of vendors that were involved.
